Halloween Game for Kids
Fall Flip-n-Tic
It’s Tic-Tac-Toe with a twist — you’ve gotta flip to play! Teams race to land their coin pumpkin side up using a stick flip, then rush to place a leaf on the board. First team to get three in a row wins the round. Fast flips, smart moves, big fun!
This game can be played with all kinds of items! 🍂 Instead of colored leaves, you could use small pumpkins, gourds, or anything festive. Use your imagination—this guide is just a starting point. The linked supplies come in bulk, so if you’re planning multiple parties, you’ll be able to create several game sets and lower the cost per game significantly.

Colored Leaves
– As mentioned above, you don't need to use leaves like those shown in the picture; you can get creative and use anything you have on hand. However, if you decide to theme the game out with colored leaves, these are a great inexpensive option. Give each team 6 leaves and make sure the teams have different colors.
Two Popsicle Sticks
– You can use any popsicle sticks you have on hand, or you can order a set of the orange wavy sticks pictured above. Another option would be to use these fun scarecrow sticks instead of the popsicle sticks, to flip the coin.
Orange coins
- For the video and picture included on this page, we had the kids flipping these plastic poker chips. We put a pumpkin sticker on one side and had the kids try to flip the coin so it landed pumpkin side up. The poker chips are a nice option because they are the perfect weight for flipping; however, you can play around with different items you have at home if you would rather not purchase an entire set.
Flip-n-Tic Game Sheet
– You can download this file to print the Flip-n-Tic game sheet. This should be printed on 11x17 paper. You can also send the file to FedEx, which is what we opted to do, and have them print the file for only $2.
-If you want to download the file at home but cannot print on such large paper, you can download this version and print it on legal paper, or this one on regular paper.
