This Party Kit is intended for a classroom with 30 or fewer students. If your class has more than 30 students you should divide the students into groups to play each game and not have them all play the same game at once.
Reindeer Relay -In this exciting relay the students place cups on their hands to mimic reindeer hooves. Two teams face off, racing to collect ice from a central plate. Players must carefully place the ice in their hooves, ensuring they don't drop them. The ice must then be carefully placed on structures in front of the students. If an ice cube falls, it will return to the plate and the player's turn ends. The team that gathers and balances the most ice cubes is the winner.
Pencil Pull Avalanche -Students will work to master the delicate art of precision in this game. Teams face off in a high-stakes battle of steady hands and strategic moves. With the tower of pencils standing tall in the center of the desk, players will roll the die to determine how many pencils they will pull. They must carefully pull out one pencil at a time, aiming to maintain the tower's balance. The team that pulls the pencil that collapses the tower is the losing team.
Jingle Jam -Using magnetic sticks, teams must work quickly to collect bells from a central circle. The bells are worth different point values depending on their color. The teams are racing against each other to try to collect the most points before all the bells are gone. They must work carefully so that they only pick up one bell at a time. If a student accidentally picks up more than one bell they must place them back in the center and their turn is over. With strategy and precision, the team to collect the most points will get to claim victory!
Santa's Hat Dance -Students face off in this game of strategy and speed. Students will be given a challenge card that depicts a specific arrangement of Santa hats. Using their own game card and Santa hats, teams will work together in this relay to strategically rearrange the hats one at a time around the grid to match the challenge card configurations. The first team to match the pattern is the winner.
